Discussion of all Marvel Cinematic Universe related movies and TV shows, including, but not limited to, the Avengers, Captain America, Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daredevil, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, etc., etc., etc. ad-infinitum.
Discussion of non-MCU Marvel titles like the X-Men or the Fantastic Four is also permitted. Ties to comics may be discussed, but this is not the primary forum for comics discussion (see the Other Media thread).

Steve's death is one of many aspects of the CW storyline I hope they don't repeat. I am happy to see that Bucky is the central conflict, as it makes it a lot more personal for Cap and makes it fit more as CA3 instead of the Avengers 3 like it seemed when the cast was announced.
Based on the trailer though, this movie is going to be an emotional wringer. I've never enjoyed storylines that have forced superheroes (especially those who were previously friends) to fight each other. As cool as the Bucky/Cap pass-the-shield scene in the trailer is, it's still painful to watch them beating up on Tony like that.
OK, just finished episode 6 [edit: of Jessica Jones], that was just so... so...Damn.
I was intrigued by Kilgrave's approach with that, I wonder why it was so important for him to acquire the thing in that manner instead of his usual MO?
Maybe so she doesn't come across the guy in the group and know what he's done?
Also? The 10am thing continues to make my skin crawl every single time it's shown.
I vagued up the above before I spoiler fonted, so the unspoileds have double nothing to worry about.
kinda dumb to speculate when you are watching the eps on a pretty quick clip. Sorry!
Also,MALCOLM.
OK, finished! Man, it got a little logy about 3/4 through with the whole weird
Simpson subplot,
but it got back on track and finished strong.
I ran into this ADORABLE (... seems like the wrong adjective to use for the show) JJ fanart on Tumblr. Spoiler for ep 6: [link]
I cannot stop cooing over it. It's so effin' cute.
I have finished Jessica Jones. There were clunky bits: I was initially thrilled to see
Claire from Daredevil
but it got real introspective-expositiony there for a bit. But hot damn, what a season of a show. It has DNA threads of Buffy (she reminds me of Wishverse Buffy, you know?) and Veronica Mars (what with the noir PI stuff and the voiceovers and the bitter) and those are both good things. I totally did not see it coming that
Kilgrave was still controlling Luke.
OUCH.
The first few episodes I was like, "this isn't that disturbing. Am I jaded?" and then it got more disturbing. I think Krysten Ritter hit it out of the park, and having only seen her on Veronica Mars I never would have guessed. Also, Luke Cage, holy hotness. That was some good casting. He has very, very nice skin. Very nice.
As others have said, it was so great to see characters who happened to be female, across such a wide range of ages, colors, shapes, and behavior. Good, bad, petty, venal, evil, competent. So freaking great. My heart sang at little characters like the delivery person who had to deal with Robin (oh jeez, Robin) and the hotel manager out to make the best of getting stiffed.
Also, Malcolm is love. Almost literally.
So it seems like they are setting up
IGH
as the Big Bad for next season, and I'm guessing that's who is looking for
Luke.
I, for one, am super looking forward to it.
