It took me a moment to realize what Fisk was doing in the final scene. My immediate thought was that
using an axe to kill someone feels a bit out of character
until he started talking about
how he learned to fight
and I realized what he was doing.
Do we think
Adam survived, and if so, is he going to just keep repeating the scenario
with him?
I'm assuming
Adam survived,
only because, while I DO think
Fisk is going to start killing again,
I don't think it's going to happen until the last or second-to-last episode.
Good call. I would not be surprised if he starts with
tracksuit douchebag that showed up in his office
.
ETA: Now I'm wondering if he will use his
dirty cop goon squad
to target his enemies.
DDBO:
Was not expecting
the Muse storyline
to wrap up so quickly.
Loved
Powell getting one-shorted with a club toss.
I laughed out loud at that.
Wow. Fisk's explanation of his former empire and why he hates Daredevil is some narcissistic delusional shit.
It took me a little longer than I thought to get back to Daredevil but I’m all caught up now. I still don’t really have any thoughts but at least I am reading y’all’s spoiler font
The newest Daredevil episode: it should go without saying that I am thrilled to see
Kingpin back in the white suit.
(Yes, I know it's
a tux,
but still.)
I'm trying to figure out
where on Kingpin that Bullseye was aiming that a much smaller Matt managed to catch the bullet in his own chest
.
Also, Matt
losing his cool with Bullseye
definitely came back to bite him in the ass.
Powell continues to be a massively hypocritical piece of shit. I know bad cop logic is already severely broken, but when
you're intentionally giving life-changing injuries to reporters you've far beyond any possible definition of fighting crime
.
I'm trying to figure out
This is one of those things where I just accept it as comic-book physics. My brother asked me if I thought that Matt
knew Kingpin was the target and threw himself in front of the bullet anyway,
or if he
thought Heather was the target and just happened to catch the bullet.
First of all, I don't think Matt Murdock "just happens" to do anything. But also, I really like this theory (which I read on Tumblr; it's not my original idea): What if Matt
jumped in front of Fisk because he heard *Benjamin Poindexter* loading a gun and pulling the trigger at a party and he just. blacked out. His brain said “this is how Foggy died” and without thinking he went to save him like he wasn’t able to before.
That would be 100% on brand for Matt Murdock.
Have not actually watched this episode yet (forgot Tuesdays are the day for it!) but Tumblr is making a lot of sense there
I suspect if it was anyone else Matt would have
tried to knock them out of the way but there was no way he was moving Fisk
. Then again, he does have
a martyr complex
so maybe it was his plan regardless.
Someone on another forum suggested that Matt
injuring Bullseye wasn't him losing his cool but intentionally trying to get him moved out of general population
until he had time to fully investigate.
