Oh, wow, I can't imagine. How exciting!

wow, I should rewatch the original.
Hoo boy, that was a lot to take in.
What's the verdict, Tom? Good, bad, indifferent?
It was so, so incredible. But there was just so much detail to take in, and then it stops and says TO BE CONTINUED.
It’s like FIVE awesome movies stuffed into one movie, but then it turns out it’s only a half a movie.

Okay, that is both excellent and a dang tease. Can't wait to see it!
Oh my
Across the Spider-Verse was so good! I cannot wait to see it on streaming so I can hit pause every 10 seconds, because there is SO MUCH going on in that movie! I think the animation in this one is even better than the first one.

Overheard in the theater last night during the end credits "Real talk man, that was the most beautiful motion picture I have ever seen" and I cannot disagree! Just visually stunning in every goddamn frame.
And it looks like part 2 is shaping up to be [minor spoilers] basically a love letter to fix-it fic? Which I approve of in EVERY WAY.
I want this franchise to go on until they literally run out of prepositions. (Beneath the Spiderverse. Around the Spiderverse. Above the Spiderverse. Etc.)
Across the Spider-Verse is the second recent movie where the multiverse is in danger because of a bagel. (I laughed so hard at the reveal that Spot was Bagel Scientist.) Not a trend I expected.
