I would love to see a director's cut where it's just the scenes Chloe Zhao actually directed (so just the scenes were characters quietly talk about their feelings and none of the fight scenes I have to assume she handed off to one of the in-house Marvel 2nd-unit laser show directors).

I have to admit that I really loved the Eternals fight scene between Makkari and Ikarus, and Phastos and Ikarus, because Ikarus deserved to get his ass beaten SO HARD.
I don't think I will ever be able to spell these names without looking at IMDB or some other reference. All I can remember is not like I think it should be spelled"
OK can one of you remind me or explain why Ikarus left 100 years ago or whenever it was? I found his arc very confusing. Nice ending, though.
My big takeaway, honestly, is that Celestials are bad at programming
explain why Ikarus left 100 years ago
I think it was because he knew the Emergence was (relatively) nigh, and if he stayed around Sersi he wouldn't be able to keep from revealing what he knew about it to her.
Which he did in the end, anyway, so extra heartache and resentment and anger for all.
Hm. That's pretty weak. Not you, dcp, the story.
The premise is an interesting one but I feel like they didn't delve into the moral dilemmas and personal convictions and whatnot enough, which seems strange for such a long movie, but 7,000 years is a lot of ground to cover no matter how you slice it.
There was a post in my cancer support group this morning by a member named Steve Rogers. I still do a double-take when I see that name.
If Wade Wilson joins the group, it's going to really freak me out.
Interesting that this show will overlap with both Obi Wan on Disney+ and the theatrical release of Thor.
Ms Marvel Trailer.
I was wondering how they were going to handle her stretchy powers and...they mostly have changed them. Though there's a bit of it.
I'm more excited about Ms. Marvel than I am about Moon Knight, honestly.
So excited about Ms. Marvel!
