I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

And Casey is clearly just Pillboi who wandered into the wrong timeline and got nabbed by the TVA, because that would totally happen to him.

Totally.

Canon bisexual Loki is excellent.

I don't like that the thing is called a TemPad or TempPad whatever. Petty gripe, but I guess I feel pretty strongly about it

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Canon bisexual Loki is excellent.

Just wait for the Sleipnir storyline.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

It's a ridiculous name and you are correct.

I was not super-impressed with that episode, although yes, the canon-bisexual thing was nice. It didn't feel like it moved the plot very much. I still have lots of questions.

Where is Sylvie from? Why didn't Loki ask her about her mother while they were talking about his? Is she a Frost Giant or has the MCU entirely forgotten that? Is her being a variant part of why she's female, and if so doesn't that mean the variation happened before her birth?

Why were they both so bad at fighting normal unenhanced human beings if they're basically gods? ISTR Loki being a lot better than that.

Why did Loki appear to give a shit about the people who were going to die, when mere days previously he would happily have had NYC burn to the ground?

I don't think we need to spoiler font in here?

I think Loki did ask Sylvie about her mother at some point and she deflected

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The entire plot of this episode was pretty stupid, honestly. But I REALLY dislike Mobius, and I generally enjoy the Absurd Plot Device Forces Characters To Communicate trope, so.

I don't like that the thing is called a TemPad or TempPad whatever. Petty gripe, but I guess I feel pretty strongly about it

Because it sounds like a feminine hygiene product, or ..?

I still want to know more, though. Because it strikes me that someone can become a Variant through no fault of their own: they are caught up somehow in an event that splits the timeline. It's pretty horrifying that the TVA's general attitude is to kill them off unless they can be repurposed for admin support.

Hm, maybe we should amend that rule. Doesn't make much sense with an episode released every week.

Anyway, I hadn't really thought about what makes a Variant a Variant - that little slideshow of Loki variants were not all the Loki we are used to (who is I guess the Loki of the Sacred Timeline if that is truly a thing) just having done one thing different. I mean, some of them could be. I don't know. The whole thing does not make sense to me.
