Oh, I love those. Have you read any of the Foodieverse?

Posters are encouraged to preface their posts to indicate the subject, particulary if switching subjects.
I keep meaning to jump into it, and always get sidetracked.
Loki trailer: [link]
I'm semi-indifferent to Loki but this is hella fun trailer. Looks retro British SF-ish, Brazil and Doctor Who-looking sets unexpectedly counterbalanced by the chillax vibes brought by Owen Wilson (I dig the energy between Wilson and Hiddleston), plus Gugu MBatha-Raw, who is always great. I caught a half-second shot of Natasha near the end, which is giving me ~feelings~. Multiverse shenanigans are my jam, so am now looking forward to this quite a bit.
The sources I’ve heard seem to think that it is announced cast member Sophia Di Martino in that shot, not [spoiler]. She was wearing that outfit in leaked set photos.
Aww, that's too bad. I thought it was too good to be true, but y'know, multiverses, so figured anything might/could happen.
Spoilery for Ep. 3: Thread is by a care provider who's done trauma-informed therapy with active-duty military personnel, and could I have this story? I would like it much more than what I've had so far.
I’m just saying, if that was me [Bucky] would be on my big squishy couch, bright open windows, bowl of Hershey kisses, random fidget toys, and two therapy dogs laying all over him while we work through that trauma and he builds back his identity and finds the calm he wants so badly.

Fucking THANK YOU. My brother (an actual therapist with a focus on people with PTSD and PTSD-C) and I have ranted about Bucky's therapist at length.
"THE AMENDS—this is probably my biggest issue. Amends are for people who need to take accountability for their actions and the repercussions of those choices. He had NO choice. He was a victim of horrific crimes against him, and framing it in a way that he needs to make up for the crimes that others used him for is abhorrent. The lack of trauma informed care as astounding in the way it is being framed that he has to atone for sins that weren’t his."
^^^^That's my biggest problem as well. That is so deeply, deeply fucked up.
"To me, I think she is more focused on signing off on his psychological eval that he isn't a liability rather than any actual healing or attention to his trauma."
^^^That's pretty much it. And, I don't know, maybe Marvel is trying to make the point that it's shitty therapy...but I don't actually believe that they're thoughtful enough for that.
It's jarring to go from the nuanced look at Wanda's grief to this shitshow that boils down to "fuck your trauma and DO BETTER."
My favorite fics are the ones in which someone - often Sam, in fact! - says "You need to find a lawyer, one with experience handling prisoner of war cases, and you also need all the therapy OMG". How did the writers not come up with that?
Now is the time on Marvel when we dance?
