I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

And who were the people who showed up... (spoiler font)
When the scene first started, the guy said it was The Power Broker. That character is in the comics as well... and I'm pretty sure that he was the one that texted Karli when the Flag Smashers were settling into their hideaway.

The Isaiah Bradley stuff was heartbreaking and infuriating, and I think pretty important.

" One People, One World " sounds good, but I don't quite understand how they're going to fulfill their mission statement of bringing the world back to how it was during the Blip. I just don't see their vision board clearly here. The motto and the fact they're trying to get vaccines to communities in need are good things, but the Blip love seems to point to a half-extinction event in the plans.

Anyway, I really liked both episodes and I'm digging the show.

What is even happening?

I keep calling The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, The Falcon and the Snowman. Regarding episode two, I deeply appreciate Bucky's hatred of new Captain America. The writers are brilliant and utterly transparent in their brilliance. It was going to be difficult to accept anyone but Chris Evans as Cap. I am not spoiled for anything and have not read the comics, but it seems pretty clear that this is a temporary Cap, who might even be a villain, so I'll be utterly relieved when either Sam or Bucky picks up the shield. Meanwhile, I can just enjoy Bucky's cathartic snark.

I have that same association, Cindy. I barely remember that movie, but it had a good title.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

TF&TWS: I am prepared for the Flagsmashers to go either way, either they're willing to go all Thanos methods for their agenda, or they're going to be crushed by the Actual Bad Guys , and be at worst a sympathetic antagonist.

I liked how they name-checked White Wolf , which seems like it very well may end up with both Falcon and Winter Soldier no longer being those things by the end of the series.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I keep calling The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, The Falcon and the Snowman.

It's the Bird Guy and Old Man show.

What is even happening?

-t, I don't even think I saw that movie, but I remember the title. Maybe Timothy Hutton and Sean Penn were in it.

It's the Bird Guy and Old Man show.

I'll allow it. Also anything Bird-ish PLUS anything Cold-ish. The Eagle and the Yeti? Why not. The Sparrow and the Skier? Sure.

Debet, I kept feeling like a lot of the flag smashers were more or less akin to idealistic Bernie supporters and that they're being exploited by Actual Bad Guys

Definitely Sean Penn, Timothy Hutton could be right. I saw it in the theater but that was a long time ago.

I feel like not having seen Solo is getting in the way of my fully appreciating FatWS. That’s unexpected.

I am more prepared to like the Flag Smashers than Cap 1.1, but I’m still half expecting Torres to be evil. I just don’t know about anyone.

What is even happening?

Well, I would tune in just to watch Bucky snark. I'd like to set him loose in other TV series, to just be all, "Nope!" at everything I didn't like.

I can't remember a goddamn thing about Solo, other than Donald Glover was fangoddamntastic as Lando Calrissian. And Phoebe Waller-Bridge was awesome as the robot.

Plus they totally bonded over it and now they're doing a remake of Mr. and Mrs. Smith (the Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie spy movie).
