For movies and Internet streaming shows, whitefont all plot-related discussion until it's been in wide release two weeks. WandaVision is taking place roughly 3-4 weeks after Endgame, based on Monica un-dusting and then Hawyard saying it took her only 3 weeks to return to SWORD. So the town of Westview was undoubtedly traumatized by the Snap, and then 3 weeks later got massively mind-controlled.
I said this after Infinity War, but Marvel got in WAY over its head in literally killing half the global population and then bringing them back. People are way too functional post-Endgame, in terms of the sheer psychological trauma. The limits of my suspension of disbelief apparently lie with psychological trauma.

Word, Steph. I am dissatisfied with the lack of accountability, or even really acknowledgement, especially when they had Monica say what she said: that went over the line, I thought.
And the only reason Wanda was forced to
sacrifice her family to save the town was because she was the one who had put them all in that position to begin with.
So Monica's statement about how the townspeople didn't understand was ridiculous on its face. Bad writing, forced sympathy for Wanda in the face of really bad behavior, however rationalized.
This is making me more excited for Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
