I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That would be bad. I’m plenty curious about Dottie.

There’s a whole lot of stuff to be resolved next week! Maybe more will be left on the table for season 2 than I would guess.

Randomly, in the murder mystery I’m currently reading the victim is named Harkness. It’s a bit distracting.

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

I was kind of cringing when I heard the episode was called "Previously on...", but that was mostly thinking it would be a rehash of the previous episodes.. I thought the section with Little Wanda kind of dragged, but aside from that found it pretty compelling.

They've missed a couple of gags I wouldn've liked though. The previous episode they should have had Vision ask Darcy, "You've been watching what now?", and in this one:

KATHRYN HAHN: Previously on Agatha All Along! ....what?

(indistinct voice)

KATHRYN HAHN: Oh come on!

(indistinct voice)

KATHRYN HAHN: FINE! (sarcastically) Previously on Wandavision

"You should never say bad things about the dead, only good… Joan Crawford is dead. Good.” —Bette Davis

I think that they're not so much saying Wanda is a mutant, as some prophesied witch whose powers work differently from the way they do for other people, more instinctively without years of occult scholarship or an organized framework of spells. (Note that Agatha's runes did work to suppress Wanda's power, which I don't think they would have against, say, Iron Man's weaponry or Captain America's strength.)

Dr. Strange established that sorcerers are drawing energies from other dimensions to cast their spells. I suspect the Mind Stone opened up Wanda's ability to do so without the training normally necessary, and she's sucking in massive amounts of power from a potentially sinister or destructive source that she knows even less about than Kaecillius and his zealots knew about Dormammu.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

And was he actively trying to traumatize her by showing her Vision's body? Trying to trigger an explosion of her powers?

This is my question as well, and even if he wasn't, that was the equivalent of showing her a loved one's autopsy. And he did put the idea in her head that she could reanimate Vision, which is not something she knew she was capable of doing.

Yeah, his words and manner with Wanda seemed sympathetic, but letting her see Vision dissected like that without any preparation was clearly intended to provoke a reaction.

Hope he gets swallowed up by the Hex and turned into a weasel or snake in the final episode.

In the end it's only ever been one step, and then the next.

Hope he gets swallowed up by the Hex and turned into a weasel or snake in the final episode.
