Discussion of non-MCU Marvel titles like the X-Men or the Fantastic Four is also permitted. Ties to comics may be discussed, but this is not the primary forum for comics discussion (see the Other Media thread).
Spoiler policy: For broadcast TV shows, blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast. For movies and Internet streaming shows, whitefont all plot-related discussion until it's been in wide release two weeks. Posters are encouraged to preface their posts to indicate the subject, particulary if switching subjects.
Since it looks like they're taking inspiration from the Fraction run, I'm curious how they're going to reconcile MCU!Hawkeye with Hawkguy.
I'd be okay with the retcon-and-never-speak-of-this-again approach to his Ozzie & Harriet fantasy suburban family and the stint as a murder hobo their loss sent him on. Up to and including recasting the role with an actor who has likeability and charm in his repertoire, like Jake McDorman.

I liked WandaVision so much more than I was expecting - they are two of my least favorite characters in the franchise (SO BORING OMG) but this show is finally giving the actors something fun to do, and they don't seem to be dragging the mystery out too long.
I think the set decorators did a great job of recreating what really felt like the periods. Plus a bit of Pleasantville thrown in. The first episode was primarily The Dick Van Dyke show. The second episode was mostly Bewitched with a sprinkling of I Dream of Jeannie. The change from black and white to color worked well as a reference to Bewitched switching to color. (Plus Pleasantville.) There was commentary on some forum or another by some guy who gave the show SEVEN minutes before he quit watching. I think some people aren’t getting that is supposed to be disjointed at first. It seems to be reflecting Wanda's state of mind. I agree with some who suggest that now the Endgame crisis is over, Wanda is dealing with the loss of Vision. Considering what happened in the comics, whoever is monitoring her is playing with fire.

I said the same thing to TCG when we were watching it. It was the perfect transition.

I actually think there might be something more going on. I think maybe it is connected to the Spiderman: Far From Home post credit scene with Nick Fury. The voice trying to contact her wants to know who is doing this to her at one point.

I have no use for Vision, and I'm indifferent to Wanda, but I'm curious enough to keep watching.** (I also loathe the cringey-ness of the 50s-60s sitcoms, and yes, I do understand that they're a deliberate stylistic choice. I just can't get past the cringey-ness. If they're working through decades of TV shows, I am *desperately* hoping they do the X-Files.)

There were some serious watch from the hall moments for me (made deliberately so by the creators), but I'm definitely interested and looking forward to this week's episode. I don't dislike Wanda or Vision. I just miss Jarvis. And Age of Ultron is way at the bottom of my MCU rankings, but it's not Wanda or Vision's fault.
WandaVision is AMAZING. Elizabeth Olsen is doing some kind of crazy magic where there are just layers and layers to her, and each layer is different and perfect.
The watch from the hall hasn't kicked in for me because it's so deliberately and perfectly artificial.
And for the perfect trifecta: the theme songs!
Yeah, the anachronisms (DH and I both commented on the wrong-era crib assembly at the same time) and sitcom logic would drive me up the wall except that that's the point.
It's nice to see two woefully underused actors getting to something interesting
