Yeah, the anachronisms (DH and I both commented on the wrong-era crib assembly at the same time) and sitcom logic would drive me up the wall except that that's the point.
It's nice to see two woefully underused actors getting to something interesting
Ep 4 and 5 upped the ante.
I loved the twist at the ending of Ep. 5
Holy shitballs. I had figured out what was going to happen, because it was pretty obvious, but I did not see that other thing coming.
So, I can see 2 possibilities for
Pietro showing up:
1. It really seemed like Wanda
wasn't responsible, which means someone else is, in which case, who in the hell is behind that?
Or 2. Wanda
has lost control of her powers to some degree, and didn't consciously bring Pietro back, but because she wanted it so much, she manifested it without actually intending to do so.
Other loose ends: will we meet Ralph? In a sitcom, we wouldn't, but this isn't actually a sitcom, and Agnes has mentioned him a LOT. Also, in the last episode, when they were figuring out which SWORD agents were in Westview, was Dottie among them? And if not, then who the fuck is she? Finally, Jimmy Woo said he went out to Westview on a missing persons case -- will that person be significant?
WandaVision
Awwwww. C=64 nostalgia.
And that ending twist, with the lampshade-hanging? Wow.
I think it's 2, Steph. They definitely harped on
"there are rules, you can't change death", but this Pietro? Isn't dead.
Darcy and I said the same thing at the same time, about
Pietro being recast.
I had to laugh.
Darcy and Woo getting caught up in watching the broadcast pleases me so much.
I really like knowing more of what is going on than I did a couple of weeks ago but really knowing that I have no idea what is actually going on. Whee!
Jimmy Woo said he went out to Westview on a missing persons case -- will that person be significant?
I was just wondering that, too. Someone in WitSec, right? Seems potentially interesting.
Apparent the
Pietro who showed up
is actually
the actor of the same character from the X-Men movies? Because Disney just got the rights back to the X-Men.
Wacky, though.
I think I'm on board with Wanda
being kind of an asshole. Unless it's not really her.
But if it wasn't, wouldn't she have admitted that?
