Discussion of all Marvel Cinematic Universe related movies and TV shows, including, but not limited to, the Avengers, Captain America, Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daredevil, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, etc., etc., etc. ad-infinitum.
Discussion of non-MCU Marvel titles like the X-Men or the Fantastic Four is also permitted. Ties to comics may be discussed, but this is not the primary forum for comics discussion (see the Other Media thread).
Spoiler policy: For broadcast TV shows, blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast. For movies and Internet streaming shows, whitefont all plot-related discussion until it's been in wide release two weeks. Posters are encouraged to preface their posts to indicate the subject, particulary if switching subjects.
Maybe Disney has a fair argument, but from my perspective it seems Sony was happier before, I was happier before, Marvel Studios was probably happier before, and Disney had plenty of money. Disney made a move intended to make their (not exactly entirely home grown) near-monopoly on blockbuster cinema even closer to a true monopoly, and now I'm sad. If they had left well enough alone, none of this would have happened.
Disney already owns like 80% of all cinema profits. I'm not too fussed about them losing a few hundred million dollars every two years, and it's not like they didn't get anything out of the existing deal.
I certainly wasn't happier with Sony's handling of the Spider-Man property before Marvel got involved.
Miss Marvel show on Disney+! Goddamn their market dominance, but they keep making awesome stuff.
Holy crap, I will definitely subscribe if they do a Ms. Marvel series!
And She-Hulk and Moon Knight, too!
Although, I doubt that any of these shows will be arriving any time soon.
Squirrel girl! Squirrel girl!
She would make an excellent MCU spider Man replacement too.
Alert to Plei: check out The Red Sea Diving Resort on Netflix. Reviews are largely terrible, but it stars Chris Evans in the bearded long hair mode you like. Bonus, in at least one scene he's nakeder than he's been on film since What's Your Number?.

It's on the list. I'm just trying to decide if I can stomach watching it with the sound on...
