So since Strange said there was only one timeline in which they won, does that apply to the timelines they created, like where Loki is running amok with the space stone, AFTER he looked at all the possible timelines? Did he see even the ones that were created later?

I think, and bear with me as I had an early AF meeting... that it would not apply to those timelines (but that he saw the timelines get created and recognized that for all present versions of people relevant to that particular battle, they were not in play).

Finally Endgame today. Made it through without a bathroom break though I was pretty much out of my seat the instant the credits rolled since I knew there wasn't a scene after the credits.
I really, really enjoyed it. I went in thinking Steve was going to die and was pleasantly surprised when he actually got a happy ending with Peggy instead.
I am rather sad about losing Natasha. Would have much rather lost Clint. He was very much broken and while he's got his family back he also has 5 years worth of memories of him slaughtering the "unworthy" so he's got some issues to work through.
Speaking of worthiness I literally cheered out loud when Steve started wielding Mjolnir.
All in it felt like a fitting closure to our original heroes and their stories, even if Natasha got seriously short-changed and also missed out on the lovely badass powershot with the rest of the Marvel ladies.

I've decided that for me the MCU ends before Infinity War. Thanos never gets the stones, the rest of the universe stumbles on its way. Bucky gets his arm because Shuri is tired of watching him pitching hay one-handed, Vision and Wanda keep sneaking off, Natasha eventually hogties Steve and Tony together in a get-along shirt until they deal with things. And of course we still have Carol.
Dealing with all the deaths is too fucking triggering. What Pepper said to Tony is nearly word-for-word what I told my beloved.

I'm still in awe over Karen Gillan as Nebula, who was a villain who was supposed to be killed off in the first Guardians movie. Seemingly through sheer force of will, she kept daring the writers to add more and more heft to her role until she ended up with one of the best character arcs in the MCU.
I mean, how profound is literally killing off your past self? Is there a better metaphor for therapy and self-improvement?

I'd say that Tony being given the honor of Thanos' final defeat rather than Nebula is is my biggest issue with the narrative of the movie. I know that in a meta sense he's the character the whole MCU is built on, but it would have been so much more appropriate for her to be the one to rack up that victory.
