Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I have one thing to say that has not yet been said: That IS America's ass .

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I have thoughts and I may have the time to elaborate on them later today (hi work!), but for now: I failed to understand the timey-wimey aspects of Gamora and Nebula once they get to new!timeline. Especially Gamora.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

America salutes America's ass .

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

America is quite the contortionist .

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

My brother texted me after seeing Endgame: "I never thought about checking out Captain America's ass, but after Tony called it out, I had to do it."

I replied, "No shame in Chris Evans shifting your Kinsey scale toward the center."

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm pretty pleased that's enshrined in film history forever.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

My thought last night was about all the people who did what they were supposed to do and tried to move on and fell in love and got married, and now their previous partners are back from the dead. Obviously, there's a lot of joy, but the logistics and the complications make my head hurt.

Also, did everyone get restored to exactly where they were when the Snapture took place? Because that wouldn't work out real well for people who were in planes, for example.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

None at all, damn it!

Shreddies

I am seeing it again in a few hours. The cup of coffee I just finished will be my only liquid until about the two-hour mark of the movie.

And, well, I'm still not ready for this. I mean, some things will be less dread-filled--I'd accidentally read one of the Reddit spoilers from months ago that involved Mjolnir and Cap wielding it and dying in battle, so from when Thor picked up MewMew until Thanos dusted, I was living in fear. Some things, though, will be sadder, like Nat's death. I am probably going to choose to wear my undercover Nat shoes for this showing. (I always wear the arrow necklace, though it's usually layered with, amusingly to me, an infinity necklace [and a diamond pendant, but that's incidental to the amusement] but I've been wearing it solo for a week or so now.) Will I weep for Tony again this time? I was surprised to weep for Tony.

I've also been thinking a lot about Sam and Wanda, though especially Sam, learning about Natasha's death. They'd spent a couple of years in close quarters before Infinity War and were part of the family she'd made for herself, after all.

Basically, I got so much emotional closure but man, I am not ready to close out this chapter. And there are people like ita that I wish had been around for it and I'm sad that they don't get to and I HAVE EMOTIONS.

I un-whitefonted it for ease of quick-editing, but also b/c it's not spoilery. And: YES. I get too damn attached to my fandoms and I feel like I just went through a breakup. I don't want the OG (MCU) Avengers to be done.
