When the spiky-haired bad guy shot blue-ringed holes through walls, did anyone else go to a Portal place? I really half-expected him to step out of an orange-ringed hole in the ceiling.

Points to Daisy for dropping him through the floor when she realized they couldn't stop him.
I liked how the show jumped past all of the figuring stuff out from the finale -- the fish oil was already a known factor, they knew the monolith grabbed Simmons, they knew Lincoln was working as a doctor (was that something we knew about him last season?). Having to watch them puzzle all that out would have been painful.
I really like Rosalind.
Lincoln looks like he should still be playing doctor, not working as one. I hereby dub him Doogie De-gausser.
I'm afraid when I saw Gemma running across that landscape, all I could think of was Fred and the world where humans are cattle.
I'm assuming it's THE AXE.
Clark Gregg tweeted that Coulson does like to collect souvenirs.
I think Iain might have broken me. Oh, my FitzSimmons Feels.
So desperate ... but still smart and prepared.
Yes! I forgot about Grumpy Cat! Team gift? Or did he just show up with it one day.
I want to say he picked it up in the kitchen of HQ last season and questioned where it came from.
That was Joey coming out of the Terrigen cocoon thing, I thought.
That was my impression as well. Especially after they exposited about how only the Terrigen made it into the fish, not the death metal (substance, not genre.)

Yes. I appreciate the writers hitting the ground running. (If this were Season 1, they probably would have dedicated an episode to them figuring out each "mystery" in turn.)
Got to say, I dug this first episode. Jumped right in with some humor and all the feels.

And tight black jeans.
I may have a problem.
