So the exploded person in the kitchen in the opener didn't have any connection to Joey?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

So the exploded person in the kitchen in the opener didn't have any connection to Joey?

That was Joey coming out of the Terrigen cocoon thing, I thought.

Really good premiere! Nice new paradigm with the Inhumans, cool to have a gay Latino Inhuman. I am so here for Constance Zimmer, and I liked the twist that they weren't actually killing the Inhumans, so...who is the third faction? And what the fuck was that monster doing and where did he come from.

Guess we'll catch up with May and Ward later, and I have little to no interest in the Bobbi/Hunter romance.

When did Iain De Caestecker become hot?

When threatening arms merchants became just another step on the long-range list of things to do.

Did anyone else go to a golem place at the appearance of a Hebrew scroll with a single word on it? And bonus points to Fitz for knowing the language when Phil didn't--though I choose to believe Phil didn't get a good look at it.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Did anyone else notice the axe on the wall in ... Coulson's office? I'm assuming it's THE AXE.

I noticed Mac longing for his axe . . . and a shotgun, or some combination thereof. Very Army of Darkness.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

When the spiky-haired bad guy shot blue-ringed holes through walls, did anyone else go to a Portal place? I really half-expected him to step out of an orange-ringed hole in the ceiling.

Points to Daisy for dropping him through the floor when she realized they couldn't stop him.

I liked how the show jumped past all of the figuring stuff out from the finale -- the fish oil was already a known factor, they knew the monolith grabbed Simmons, they knew Lincoln was working as a doctor (was that something we knew about him last season?). Having to watch them puzzle all that out would have been painful.

I really like Rosalind.

Lincoln looks like he should still be playing doctor, not working as one. I hereby dub him Doogie De-gausser.
