Discussion of all Marvel Cinematic Universe related movies and TV shows, including, but not limited to, the Avengers, Captain America, Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daredevil, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, etc., etc., etc. ad-infinitum.
Discussion of non-MCU Marvel titles like the X-Men or the Fantastic Four is also permitted. Ties to comics may be discussed, but this is not the primary forum for comics discussion (see the Other Media thread).

For movies and Internet streaming shows, whitefont all plot-related discussion until it's been in wide release two weeks. I finally saw Spider-Man Homecoming and LOVED it. It was super funny. Definitely in my top 5 MCU movies for joy alone, though Tony felt a bit off. I cannot WAIT for more MJ because she was fan-fucking-tastic.
I'm still watching The Inhumans. I'm not sure why—penance, maybe? Anyway, I'm surprised there's no Gogon/Karnak fic showing on AO3.
Here's the really important thing I don't think anyone has yet noted about Thor: As attractive as long-hair Thor is, holy shit when they cut his hair. And then made him stand around shirtless for a while.
Phew.
PS: I realize people can have different opinions about whether short or long hair is hotter.
On the one hand I was a little peeved, because Thor has an iconic look that I saw no good reason within the narrative for changing. On the other, rowrrrrr.

You ain't never lied.
Plus, Chris Hemsworth has to be so damn happy to be rid of the wig.
Hotter than one million suns.

Matt is me. I was really irritated that they didn't bother to make even a token reason for the haircut...but it's very difficult to argue with the results.
He was
fighting Surtur in Muspelheim at the beginning of the movie, and had to stamp out a fire on his leggings! How hard would it have been to have some of his hair singed off in that scene
if they wanted to justify a makeover?
Does anyone know how to reveal the white-font on a tablet?
