Hotter than one million suns.
Marvel Universe: Infinite Chrises
Discussion of all Marvel Cinematic Universe related movies and TV shows, including, but not limited to, the Avengers, Captain America, Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daredevil, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, etc., etc., etc. ad-infinitum.
Discussion of non-MCU Marvel titles like the X-Men or the Fantastic Four is also permitted. Ties to comics may be discussed, but this is not the primary forum for comics discussion (see the Other Media thread).
Spoiler policy: For broadcast TV shows, blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast. For movies and Internet streaming shows, whitefont all plot-related discussion until it's been in wide release two weeks. Posters are encouraged to preface their posts to indicate the subject, particulary if switching subjects.
On the one hand I was a little peeved, because Thor has an iconic look that I saw no good reason within the narrative for changing. On the other, rowrrrrr.
Matt is me. I was really irritated that they didn't bother to make even a token reason for the haircut...but it's very difficult to argue with the results.
He was fighting Surtur in Muspelheim at the beginning of the movie, and had to stamp out a fire on his leggings! How hard would it have been to have some of his hair singed off in that scene if they wanted to justify a makeover?
Does anyone know how to reveal the white-font on a tablet?
quester can you press and hold and pull up the copy/paste highlighting dialog? Works on my phone but YMMV. I edited my custom CSS a whole ago to make whitefont more a pale gray; it makes it easy to let my eyes skim over it if I want to avoid spoilers but I don't have to highlight it to read it when I don't care.
I watched the first episode of The Runaways on Hulu, and it's *GOOOOD*.
It's a little slowly paced, but unlike the Netflix Marvel shows, it focuses on character moments, rather than idiotic plot-churning.
Oh, good to know, Tom. I'll check it out!
I've watched the first two episodes, I second what Tom said!
Watched the first and it was so hard to stop!
Thanks Gris! Took a little while yo figure it out but it works!
