If a film director is a comedian, they're acting in their own film, then there's nobody on set to let them know when they need to dial it back.
Buffy ,'The Killer In Me'
Marvel Universe: Infinite Chrises

I think the trailers deflated a lot of cool bits.
Did Hela actually even say "Asgard is dead" in the movie? It was in the trailer, but I don't remember it in the movie.
Loki's double knife flip wasn't in there either. Maybe they didn't want to show him being a badass .
That was the other one! I was waiting for that one the whole damn movie.
There wasn't even a location that matched that scene.
Maybe there'll be a director's cut with those scenes in.
The cut scene that I want? Valkyrie is bisexual in the comics and had a scene in the movie confirming it, but it was cut: [link]
Well that's a bullshit excuse. Managed to work Scourge's sexuality in just fine.
And the Grandmaster's, despite him not actually having a sexuality in the comics as far as I'm aware. (To be fair, he's outlived the rest of his species by billions of years...)
I would like nineteen more movies about Cate Blanchett.
I kept remembering her role in Lord of the Rings, and thinking, "This is what happens when Galadriel doesn't diminish and go into the West". Love her and despair indeed.
