So as a promotion for the movie, Denny's introduced the “Thing Burger”, which is a beef patty with bacon, egg, and cheese.
Which makes perfect sense, since Ben Grimm is Jewish.
Discussion of all Marvel Cinematic Universe related movies and TV shows, including, but not limited to, the Avengers, Captain America, Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daredevil, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, etc., etc., etc. ad-infinitum.
Discussion of non-MCU Marvel titles like the X-Men or the Fantastic Four is also permitted. Ties to comics may be discussed, but this is not the primary forum for comics discussion (see the Other Media thread).
Spoiler policy: For broadcast TV shows, blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast. For movies and Internet streaming shows, whitefont all plot-related discussion until it's been in wide release two weeks. Posters are encouraged to preface their posts to indicate the subject, particulary if switching subjects.

Oy.
Ben Grimm is Jewish.
He is? I never knew that.
Yep.
I'd imagine Denny's patrons faced with a gefilte fish special would react... well, much like unsuspecting moviegoers who stumbled into this movie.
There's a pretty far distance between that treyfburger and gefilte fish!
Well, apparently little else in that movie matches the comics--thought I haven't seen the movie.
I finally saw Ant-Man! And enjoyed it quite a lot. It felt like a complete story, in a way a lot of the other MCU movies don't. And it was funny, and I always enjoy a heist.
I found it okay, but forgettable. I think Michael Douglas took the role just so he could be CGIed to look younger in his first scene.
so he could be CGIed to look younger in his first scene.
That was CREEPY AS HELL. (Although, to be fair, I started finding Michael Douglas creepy at least 10 years ago because he started reminding me of my dad. So I found him creepy as current!old!Hank Pym, as well as CGIed Hank Pym.)
