Discussion of all Marvel Cinematic Universe related movies and TV shows, including, but not limited to, the Avengers, Captain America, Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daredevil, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, etc., etc., etc. ad-infinitum.
Discussion of non-MCU Marvel titles like the X-Men or the Fantastic Four is also permitted. Ties to comics may be discussed, but this is not the primary forum for comics discussion (see the Other Media thread).
Spoiler policy: For broadcast TV shows, blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast. For movies and Internet streaming shows, whitefont all plot-related discussion until it's been in wide release two weeks. Posters are encouraged to preface their posts to indicate the subject, particulary if switching subjects.
It would be interesting to see a storyline that addressed Peter's realization that as far as origin stories go, his is surprisingly trauma-lite. Yeah, his uncle was murdered, but it's not suffering through multiple life-threatening illnesses during the Great Depression then going to war, nor being manipulated by the Red Room, nor escaping an abusive family and joining a circus, nor being captured and tortured by terrorists. Heck, until Peter showed up, Thor had the most nurturing childhood of any of them (as far as the OG Avengers go, that is, Sam's Mama trumps them all).
Maybe Peter asking Tony what makes a supervillain, and Tony describing someone with wealth and massive computer and engineering skills out to right wrongs and avenge his own hurts . Peter says "Dr. Doom?" and Tony says, "Me, if I hadn't had people who loved me. And given the existence of Ultron in the world, there's a plausible argument that those people who love me didn't make much difference."
Why is Natasha blonde in that poster? that is more disturbing than Steve's beard.

My guess is, much like Steve's beard, it's part of changing her appearance while being on the run post-Civil War.
Ah, had not thought of that.
I still think it's wrong. Natasha shouldn't be blonde. When she was undercover before, she wasn't blonde.

True. But I don't think she'd been on CSPAN then, either. I'd probably dye my hair, too. Although going mid-range brown would have been a more subtle on-the-run look.
So Lupita Nyong'o went to SDCC in cosplay as Kylo Ren:

(I'm posting here because of course she's now an MCU character.)
The Pink Ranger video killed me dead.
It looks like The Defenders is only eight episodes long because they spent most of their budget on lighting gels.
All four characters have color-coded lighting. It's kind of hilarious.
How very Peter Greenaway of them.
