I sure wouldn't want Simmons as an enemy.

I saw GotG2 Thursday evening. I had a little more trouble getting into it than the first one, but it was still fun.
He's going to be really messed up when he remembers he shot her.
I'm pretty sure he remembered right away. He remembered everything else he'd done.
I really enjoyed GotG2. Did NOT expect Yondu to die. Our whole theater was audibly sniffling and crying.
And teenage!Groot is the goddamn BEST.
Totally agreed on the second.
But people really need to stop making Ben Browder act with an accent.
That *was* Ben Browder? I thought so, but the gold was so weird I wasn't sure.
He's always looked more or less like that to me.
Saw GotG! That white spaceship looked like the white space ship from Heavy Metal the Movie way back in the day.
I thought Peter would find some last fragment of The Light to save Yondu, but no. And as soon as I saw the songtitle Father and Son I started crying, because that song has gutted me for decades.
I just realized that Yondu telling Rocket that he has to go because he's taking care of Groot was yet another parental thing..
Saw GOTG2 with my Krewe and LOVED it. There were so many moments that just had me giggling with delight. Like seeing the Ravagers thrown up above the trees by Rocket, and Kraglin singing to his soup and of course Drax's famously large turds.
It hit pretty much all the right notes. Seeing it again this Sunday with Tom and Nora.
I'm hoping to see it this weekend with Mom. She hasn't seen the first one but I have it and I may declare Friday pizza and movie night. I don't have anyone else to go with and I don't want to go alone so Mom is nominated
