Discussion of all Marvel Cinematic Universe related movies and TV shows, including, but not limited to, the Avengers, Captain America, Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daredevil, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, etc., etc., etc. ad-infinitum.
Discussion of non-MCU Marvel titles like the X-Men or the Fantastic Four is also permitted. Ties to comics may be discussed, but this is not the primary forum for comics discussion (see the Other Media thread).
Spoiler policy: For broadcast TV shows, blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast. For movies and Internet streaming shows, whitefont all plot-related discussion until it's been in wide release two weeks. Posters are encouraged to preface their posts to indicate the subject, particulary if switching subjects.
Saw GOTG2 with my Krewe and LOVED it. There were so many moments that just had me giggling with delight. Like
seeing the Ravagers thrown up above the trees by Rocket,
and
Kraglin singing to his soup
and of course
Drax's famously large turds.
It hit pretty much all the right notes. Seeing it again this Sunday with Tom and Nora.
I'm hoping to see it this weekend with Mom. She hasn't seen the first one but I have it and I may declare Friday pizza and movie night. I don't have anyone else to go with and I don't want to go alone so Mom is nominated
Agents of SHIELD: I'm not sure that's how epinephrine works, but totally worth it for the visual of May on that guy's shoulders.
Wham! Wham! Wham!
Get it off me! Get it off me!
I liked Phil's hand slicing that dude's face off. Also Ada's switch from empathetic human to raging murderous Banshee.
Yeah, I loved the over-the-topness of it. Of course someone, specifically Aida, who'd never experienced any kind of hurt before would react that badly to rejection.
Fitz has compassion for her--until she goes all Fatal Attraction on him.
Agents is renewed for Season 5!
So, are we meant to assume that all the LMD duplicates are exploded, or are our Agents going to have to fight their doubles in the finale?
