GotG2: Not quite as good as the first, but only by a small degree. There's not a whole lot wrong with this to complain about.
Will probably see it again in the theatre, just to take in the visuals and look for easter eggs.
Discussion of all Marvel Cinematic Universe related movies and TV shows, including, but not limited to, the Avengers, Captain America, Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daredevil, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, etc., etc., etc. ad-infinitum.
Discussion of non-MCU Marvel titles like the X-Men or the Fantastic Four is also permitted. Ties to comics may be discussed, but this is not the primary forum for comics discussion (see the Other Media thread).
Spoiler policy: For broadcast TV shows, blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast. For movies and Internet streaming shows, whitefont all plot-related discussion until it's been in wide release two weeks. Also: the best performance in the film was Karen Gillan.
She acted Emma Watson off the screen in "The Circle."

... which wouldn't have been that hard. *rimshot* I mean, I love Watson as Hermione to bits, but her post HP movie roles have not been impressive for her range. But now that the new B&B remake has made gazillion dollars, she'll likely be in everything. Ah well.
As for Gillan, Insert here yet another wail about how much I liked Selfie and sadface at its premature cancellation

I didn't see it until after it was cancelled (thank you, internet), and I am also in the wailing camp. That was a GREAT show.
Wasn't it? Gillan and John Cho had smashing chemistry together. Oh, man, Eliza's drunk, heartbroken rendition of "Chandelier"! MY HEART [link]

Honestly? I like it WAY better than Sia's version.
And I loved all the supporting characters. LOVED. #TeamCharmonique
Selfie definitely got a raw deal.
As far as Mac, couldn't they figure out a way to speed up the time passage in the Framework? Do a Captain Picard thing, then pull him out?
Also, I think Aida teleported Fitz, but not back to the Framework. I'm assuming she's going to try and tap into the Leopold side of him. I'd like to have him play along until he sees an opportunity, or makes one.
I wouldn't mind FitzSimmons taking her down together.
I loved when Fitz told Simmons to get on her knees and she just said straightforwardly "No." He's going to be really messed up when he remembers he shot her.
Aida fears Simmons.
I sure wouldn't want Simmons as an enemy.
