"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Oh safe to say the incoherence is intentional and has a point.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Jess! YOU MET BILL IRWIN? I have worshiped the guy ever since I saw this bit of brilliance on PBS in the 80s. [link] I wore out my tape of it from watching it so many times.

By the way--if you click the link, you can watch the whole thing and be forever indebted to me.

"Met" might be putting it strongly - he was hanging out by the stage door while we were waiting to go in, and we started chatting. He's fantastic!

That totally counts. Chatting counts.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Oh, man, the four-day gap before Legion shows up on Hulu is going to FUCKING KILL ME.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I don't want to taunt you or anything but that was one of the best hours of television I've ever seen.

Just kidding! I totally wanted to taunt you!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Legion is the next show we're going to watch after we are caught up on our current shows.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

I really liked Legion when it wasn't making a ton of sense and now that it's making more sense, I still really like it! I didn't know anything about this character within the Marvel/X-Men universe, so I feel like there are still lots of things that I don't really catch, but it's visually amazing and the acting is out of this world. I want Aubrey Plaza to win all the awards. And Dan Stevens! Especially in the last episode, Dan Stevens was ruling my world.

I think they found an interesting way to craft a show around a character who can basically do anything with his mind. David could be a really boring character because he's so much stronger than, well, pretty much everything else, but they way that they've addressed that and worked within it has been fascinating. I'm sad that there's only one episode left in this season. I want more!

Okay, this last ep of Legion was AWESOME. The silent film sequence alone was spectacular!

The one thing I'm still missing is that they never established a baseline for what the real world is like in this show's universe. I'm sure that's deliberate, but it does make it difficult to appreciate when things get weird, because there is no way to know how far away from "normal" we are at any given moment. (Again, I'm CERTAIN that this is being done on purpose, and maybe even done well. But I'm not a fan of the choice.)

Legion is still on its first season, right? Is it available to stream on Hulu or anything? I keep hearing such good things!
