Discussion of all Marvel Cinematic Universe related movies and TV shows, including, but not limited to, the Avengers, Captain America, Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daredevil, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, etc., etc., etc. ad-infinitum.
Discussion of non-MCU Marvel titles like the X-Men or the Fantastic Four is also permitted. Ties to comics may be discussed, but this is not the primary forum for comics discussion (see the Other Media thread).
Spoiler policy: For broadcast TV shows, blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast. For movies and Internet streaming shows, whitefont all plot-related discussion until it's been in wide release two weeks. Posters are encouraged to preface their posts to indicate the subject, particulary if switching subjects.
My only knowledge of military rank comes from watching MASH and Star Trek.
It wouldn't surprise me if they made her an actual Captain in the MCU since I think that's what the unpowered version of Carol from the Ultimate Universe (before she got promoted to Director of SHIELD) was.
Makes sense. Presumably she's not going to go through the Ms. Marvel/Binary/Warbird iterations and will just be the first Captain Marvel in the MCU.
That would make sense, though I wonder if they will nod to a Ms. Marvel moniker or era somehow to set up Kamala Khan in the MCU. Which is a faint hope, I know.
So. Namor's back in the ranks.
Damn it! Why did they have to cast Cumberbatch as Strange? He would be a PERFECT Namor.
Pity Corin Nemec doesn't look the part, since he apparently can hold his breath for like 5 minutes or so.
...
The words "my dream Namor" just left my fingers.
What the fuck, self?
The words "my dream Namor" just left my fingers.
He does look perfect for the part though.
Doesn't he just?
Bonus: he'd be required to be wet.
I don't actually know who Namor is, but I fully support any plan to get the man you linked into my theater.
