I do recommend seeing Antman though, it is awesome!

I'm somewhat less thrilled that they turned their Latino gay dude into an Alpha Primitive mook
Nope, wasn't him. Pretty sure it was the actor who played Billy Riggins in FNL - [link]
Nope. He's Ant-Man, he can be small. There you go.
Ha!
I haven't seen it yet either.
I was real surprised when that one white guy turned out to be Jesus??
Damn, I *have* missed a lot.
There was a lot of talk about him dying for everyone's "mistakes".... I knew what they meant.
Huh, I got nothing messianic about it, I was just annoyed at everyone making it all about them.
And now I'm re-thinking all the sermons I listened to about Jesus dying for my sins. "Wow, Reverend, way to make it all about you."
It's possible I was primed that way with all the stuff about Yo-yo's cross.
I so loved Cross Roulette and the shiver of "Fitz just gave her his coat, with the logo! And it's got the cross in it!" It was like tracking the McGuffin in a Hitchcock movie.
edit: It may not be the most erudite of storylines, but gosh I love it when elements are foreshadowed and touched on so that the viewer knows it's important but the players don't.
when did John Hannah join the cast? I love him
And I got my new tagline from him. Unattributed, because spoilers.
eta: "I can tell by your moustache you're a man of import and not to be trifled with..."
Finally caught up on SHIELD, haven't seen Civil War yet. Hopefully next weekend.
Very glad Lincoln was the one who bought it. I won't miss him at all. I was very worried it would be Fitz or Simmons. I'm honestly getting tired of the modern trend of shows killing off a major character in the season finale. I'm okay with death being a real threat, but it should be an organic part of the story rather than a "Whoops, we're at the end of the season, time to give someone the axe!"
No one else was excited about Mac's shotgun-axe? I actually cheered when he showed everyone.
Coulson definitely referred to someone else being Director in the flash-forward.
