Did anybody tell you to start with Ep. 3, watch through ep. 30 something, watch 1&2 and continue? I didn't do that, and on rewatch I didn't again, b/c I knew stuff this time. I've rewatched, and have most of the characters, their connections and associations worked out, and am working on remembering the names. The pretty is very distracting.
I checked Netflix just now. I remembered there was a 'languages and subtitles' button, and yes, I was right. You have a choice of multiple languages, none of which is English, so I can see your problem. Thanks for giving it a shot though. I have no idea why I've tumbled in so deep to this series. I'm holding off on my third (!) rewatch and doing some meta reading. Plus, Netflix has several similar shows, so I'll be sampling some of those. I do think the complicated, gorgeous fantasy has been a valuable antidote to real life the past several weeks. I probably wouldn't have had the patience, otherwise.
Oh, my tumblr feed is roughly 40-40 The Untamed and The Witcher, with a smattering of Supernatural making up the rest. It’s definitely fannish catnip.
I'm going to end up watching The Untamed, aren't I? Dammit.
;^) I'm following a couple of Untamed mavens on my Tumblr--one is also an SPN and a Shadowhunters fan, so that works out nicely, she's laoih. Another, who has done a lot to help me clarify who's who and related to who and the whys and wherefores is hysieme--they do a lot of meta. And several gif and pic pushers are around, too.
So. very. pretty.
A new season of The Repair Shop is up on Netflix.
Oh yay! I must have watched every episode available till now 15 times each.
Oh, good. I should watch more of that.
Anyone else watching S3 of Star Trek: Disco? I'm enjoying it quite a lot. The last episode was really interesting: I wasn't as into the character stuff with Burnham (I think the narrative rewarded her too quickly), but I loved the stuff they're doing with
Vulcans and Romulans.
I agree she was rewarded pretty darn fast - but I love how they move things along
Orphan Black did that too.
Star Trek Discovery has been my ultimate TV comfort food during all of this. This season is so different and it's taking me a while to get into it, but I'm getting there.
