I was like, "surely we didn't need to see all 8 births."
Me too, though for me, Noni's kind of made up for it at least partially.

(unless the last episode really upsets me)
The finale is greeeeeat. Some issues, but I don't think it'll upset you.
I loved Catastrophe!
Finished Sense8, still love it. It hits the part of me that would rather have something flawed and genuine and deeply felt than something perfectly executed. I mean, sometimes I want the perfect clockwork parts, but sometimes I want fireworks and karaoke and situations that are both scary and funny.
Sun is the best. Lito is hilarious. Oh, my god, the bit in the last episode where he met Will.
Yes to all of that.
Cosigned.
I've watched the whole shebang three times so far and with each viewing, I heart a new favorite.
Lito holds the crown at the moment. I can't get enough of his face, or his humor, or his humility.
I didn't like him at all, in the first viewing.
I love when a story changes my mind.
Totally agree on Lito, bonny. I kept thinking of him as window dressing, but when he stepped up, he went all the way. Good character arch.
My biggest quibble remains Will and Riley's relationship. Hero save the depressed pixie dream girl. I like both characters individually.
OitNB - I'm not feeling it this season especially when a favorite character was removed.
I love Lito so much. He's so ridiculous, yet endearing. And you know if Hernando loves him, he's got to be a good guy.
The scene where he tells Nomi about their first date is really touching.
I also love how he comes to own his strengths. I loved him helping Wolfgang or charming the doctor for info.
The scene where he tells Nomi about their first date is really touching.
Love that scene SO MUCH.
My biggest quibble remains
Mine too, quester. While I like them, it felt off that the climax and emotional core of the finale ended up being about the white heterosexual couple.

I didn't like it as much as the first two seasons, but I think it has its strengths.
