Wow, the end of episode 10 of Sense8 is extraordinary.

ISN'T IT.
ISN'T IT.
It's unlike anything I've ever seen, and it brought me to tears.
I have no poetry in my soul 'cause at the end of it, I was like, "surely we didn't need to see all 8 births." And I'm talking as someone who's actually seen several births.
The music was grand. Ehm, Beethoven, I think? One of the piano concertos. Too lazy to look up.
On a different note, I just started watching Catastrophe on Amazon streaming based on a rec from Pop Culture Happy Hour crew and I'm kinda in love with it. I've only watched 2 out of the total 6 episodes but God, it's fantastic, warm and witty and down-to-earth, despite the fact its premise is one that sends me running to the hills usually (accidental pregnancy.) I'm deliberately rationing myself because there are so few episodes in the season.
I was like, "surely we didn't need to see all 8 births."
That does seem to be the other common reaction. I'm planning on pimping this to people at VividCon (unless the last episode really upsets me), and I'm not sure how exactly to describe it, or what to say that will give people a good understanding of it.
I was like, "surely we didn't need to see all 8 births."
Me too, though for me, Noni's kind of made up for it at least partially.
(unless the last episode really upsets me)
The finale is greeeeeat. Some issues, but I don't think it'll upset you.
I loved Catastrophe!
Finished Sense8, still love it. It hits the part of me that would rather have something flawed and genuine and deeply felt than something perfectly executed. I mean, sometimes I want the perfect clockwork parts, but sometimes I want fireworks and karaoke and situations that are both scary and funny.
Sun is the best. Lito is hilarious. Oh, my god, the bit in the last episode where he met Will.
Yes to all of that.
Cosigned.
I've watched the whole shebang three times so far and with each viewing, I heart a new favorite.
Lito holds the crown at the moment. I can't get enough of his face, or his humor, or his humility.
I didn't like him at all, in the first viewing.
I love when a story changes my mind.
