I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I imprinted hard on Jeremy Brett's Holmes, but I'll enjoy watching Cavill in period clothes.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

When I picture Holmes, I picture Basil Rathbone

Unless I'm actually watching another Holmes - I don't, like, overwrite JLM or anything

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Jonny Lee is pretty ripped in a lankier way.

I'm having fun thinking of Sherlock as more Cavill-shaped before his big ol' drug problem.

I can work with this.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

RDJ can certainly beef up. But he's not a tank like Cavill. IDK.

Maybe it's just because beefcake isn't really my thing. I'm much more likely to notice Cavill's pretty face.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

At his best, RDJ was more of a Slim Jim than beefcake.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I thought it was funny when they asked guys from the first two or three Marvel movies to identify shots of random biceps. Nobody got RDJ in Iron Man. He had some guns in that movie.

Thrive to spite them

I have finished The Witcher.

I had no idea it finished on a cliffhanger....

I enjoyed it , I want more, I need to get back to the first book which I find more confusing at times than the tv show.

Herding cats for fun

I've just finished watching Midnight Diner on Netflix. You won't like it if reading subtitles bothers you, but if you enjoy heartfelt stories wth an emotional payoff about how someone can really love curry ramen or cream stew, this one might float your boat.

The story started out as manga before it was televised and it's about a mysterious chef known only as the Master who runs an izakaya in a tiny alleyway in Tokyo's Shinjuku district that is open from midnight to seven am. Recurring characters make this one more fun than Cheers. I'm only sorry there aren't any more episodes for me to watch.
