My first thought was "oh, no, young sister of Holmes?" but that trailer totally won me over. Helena Bonham Carter not least!

That is an excellently cut trailer and looks like a ton of fun. Call me basic, but I am stoked to see Helena Bonham Carter back in period dress. (Gosh, I loved those Merchant Ivory films.) And Millie Bobby Brown sporting her native accent and looking like she is having a grand old time!
Not sure about Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, mostly because he's built like a tank and I always think of Sherlock as wiry and kinda rabbity and vibrating with nervous energy. I might have gotten too attached to Jonny Lee Miller's take on him in Elementary. Also Sam Claflin is several years younger than Cavill and isn't Mycroft supposed to be like a decade older? Ah well!
I wonder if it was always meant to go directly to streaming, or if it had been planned for theatrical release initially.
Not sure about Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes
Yeah, I wouldn't have picked him for Sherlock, but since Enola is the focus of the movie, I can live with him. I think.
Jonny Lee Miller will always and forever be my One True Sherlock Holmes.
I love Johnny Lee Miller's Sherlock. Although there are times when I'm struck by how much he resembles Doofenshmirtz from Phineas & Ferb
Doctor Doof! Haha haha. Good one.
Excited for Enola Holmes. I like looking at Cavill so I'm fine with Sherlock being a beefcake for a change. Millie Bobby Brown is a g-d treasure.
I like looking at Cavill
He is quite nice to look at.
Is RDJ not considered a beefcake? Even in the shirtless fight scene at the beginning of his first Sherlock Holmes movie?
RDJ can certainly beef up. But he's not a tank like Cavill. IDK.
I imprinted hard on Jeremy Brett's Holmes, but I'll enjoy watching Cavill in period clothes.
