Holy shit, Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay miniseries: [link] I hope having Michael Chabon as executive producer works as well as having Neil Gaiman be the showrunner for Good Omens.

Is anyone watching The Witcher?
Not yet, but I plan to tonight.
So, Mrs. Maisel season 3. It was good, I thought! I liked it overall better than season 2. The ending had a much bigger effect on me emotionally than I would have thought going in.
Re: The Witcher: Well, at least it's pretty.
Netflix said they spent $15B on content this year. My question is: where the hell is that money going? If The Witcher is one of their more prominent productions, how come it looks so amateurishly-made? Are blond wigs really that expensive?
Mrs. Maisel season 3
Huh. I only have the finale left to watch and I'm still wondering when the hell the season is going to start.

Good, realistic-looking ones that photograph or film well are surprisingly pricey (though on that budget...), especially when you're dealing with long ones that have to move well (where you're frequently going to need to use human hair).
Signed, cosplayer with a serious wig habit.
At this point it feels like "bad wigs" are an essential component of genre properties alongside techobabble and daddy issues.
Well, it's hard to notice the good ones...
