Strut, pout, put it out, DT.
illegal.
That's a weird way to spell "required"
Randomness - I received a package from Amazon today, and it came in a Good Omens themed box, complete with photos of Crowley and Aziraphale on the side panels. Very nifty.
Finally watched the vid linked upthread. Lovely
We finished Good Omens tonight. I'll just reiterate: that was DELIGHTFUL. Even better than I had hoped. And I need to buy some Queen albums.
Get the their Best of Queen album. It'll be fine.
I finished my first Good Omens watch, and now I'm ready to watch it again without my changes-from-the-book nitpicking goggles on. (Does anyone else do this with adaptations when you're really familiar with the source material? One time through as an adaptation, then a second pass to just appreciate the new thing for what it is.)
Sometimes I skip the second pass part, as in that "adaptation" of A Wizard of Earthsea the Sci-Fi network made some years back, or Peter Jackson's The Hobbit trilogy.
Even though Tim never really agrees with me when I point out slashy subtext* in media (he kind of agrees on Steve/Bucky, which is a HUGE concession on his part), after we watched the last episode last night, *he* was the one who turned to me and said "I REALLY hope there are people at Pride cosplaying as Crowley and Aziraphale." Awwwww YISSSS.
*(Though I wouldn't call Crowley and Aziraphale's relationship "subtext." I'd call it the whole damn text and then some.)
(Tim could totally cosplay Crowley, because he has the hair for certain time periods, he has the leather pants, and -- I promise this is true -- he has Crowley's walk down cold, have mercy.)
