I did not know The Bear was having a 5th season. Do I need to get Hulu back?
I don't know...haven't started with that one again, just with the last few from last time because I have a crapzillion shows I'm catching up on. Happy to report I thought Mrs. Maisel deserved the hype-- it's always nice when that happens, even if, as usual, I'm a bit too late to share it with anyone as a Phenomenon. Much better than the other thing of turning on the thing Everyone watches and being, like, "That's it?"
I did enjoy Mrs. Maisel and have this thread to thank for that.
I stopped watching Mrs Maisel partway through, maybe I will finish it eventually
I loved Mrs Maisel when it started out but for me it went downhill fast after the second season. After the episode where they yelled at each other on the Wonder Wheel I decided I'd had enough.
I did finally start watching Pluribus, and OMG it is FANTASTIC. It is exactly my brand of weird thinky scifi.
That might be where I stopped watching as well. I was looking through IMBD trying to remember but I couldn't pin it down.
Pluribus is exploring some really interesting stuff, very thinky. I feel like most of what I see people saying about it makes assumptions that I am not ready to buy into
I might have felt differently about that, Jessica, if I hadn't sort of started from the end.
