I loved Mrs Maisel when it started out but for me it went downhill fast after the second season. After the episode where they yelled at each other on the Wonder Wheel I decided I'd had enough.
I did finally start watching Pluribus, and OMG it is FANTASTIC. It is exactly my brand of weird thinky scifi.
That might be where I stopped watching as well. I was looking through IMBD trying to remember but I couldn't pin it down.
Pluribus is exploring some really interesting stuff, very thinky. I feel like most of what I see people saying about it makes assumptions that I am not ready to buy into
I might have felt differently about that, Jessica, if I hadn't sort of started from the end.
I finally watched Ted Lasso, and the last episode watching ASH stalk the sideline at the game in his long, dramatic black leather coat I just wanted to tap him on the shoulder and remind him, "It's all about the coat."
It's a gorgeous coat; suits him quite well.
It put me in mind of a fic by our own Amyparker and Connie Neil: "Career Change," in which Giles becomes the vampire boss of Sunnydale. ASH's smolder is one for the ages, certainly.
I'll have to look that one up. Sounds good, thanks for the rec.
I honestly don't see how anybody could possibly wear that coat and not stalk, right?
