It is unsettling to see him playing the baddie, but he does it very well. Of course.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We finally finished Wednesday last night. I loved it so much!

I’m only half way through Season 2 of The Bear, but I did not expect The Bear to turn into a better Ted Lasso than the last season of Ted Lasso was.

Huh. Intriguing. I watched about two and a half episodes of season 1 of The Bear but couldn't take the the anger issues and the stress.

Someday perhaps I will give it another try, and hope to reach the part of season 2 that you are referring to.

Well, I guess I will have to watch that then. I never got around to the first season. Getting to be a lot of shows I should be watching, though - Witcher (including Blood Origin which I never got around to either), more MCU than I realized I had missed, Star Treks of various forms and then just stuff I hear is good and would probably enjoy. It's a lot!

You can skip ahead. You have my permission. Maybe watch the last 15 minutes of S1.

Nimona is great! Woohoo! I enjoyed it so much I went back and read the graphic novel again (? I may have only read the webcomic before, actually) and was very pleased to notice so many details that made it into the movie. Although I am totaly on board with the changes they made to make it work as an animated movie. Two thumbs up.

I spent much of the weekend lying in front of a fan and watching Netflix on my phone, so I also caught up on The Witcher. I'm happy with season 3 so far. I didn't reread Time of Contempt or anything, but I recognized enough stuff from memory (including something I wanted to see but didn't think they would be able to get to from where they left season 2, so that was extra nice) to be gratified on the Book!Canon front. Blood Origin had pretty good fight scenes (and Michelle Yeoh) and the story is, I guess, okay as history of elves but as an explanation of the creation of witchers or as the story behind the Conjunction of Spheres I'm not really on board. Meh.
