I didn't realize that Bronwyn & Arondir were in what later becomes Mordor!

Was it? That didn't occur to me. I thought it was Rhûn, or perhaps Dorwinion.

ETA: Whooops! Looks like you were right. Ep. 3 gave us a nice pan of the map.

Finally saw eps 2 & 3 of RoP; liked them more. Definitely more AU -- for instance, Elendil has a daughter (of which I thoroughly approve!). I like the weird responses to Galadriel in Numenor, although frankly as an Eldar, she should look way less bedraggled. That's the whole point of being from Valinor, isn't it?

I liked both Miriel and Disa, as well. Didn't love the weird rock contest with Durin, but I did appreciate the explanation for his anger at Elrond. That made a lot of sense.

Still struggling with the short hair on the male Elves. WTF, this looks ridiculous.

LotR: TRoP

I wonder whether Eärien will end up being the primary architect for Gondor.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I didn't realize how much I wanted this. I'm actually more excited for this than any of the upcoming Marvel or Star Wars stuff (though Tales of the Jedi with pre-Sith Dooku looks interesting.)

SW: ANDOR is GOOD! Like, really good? Like, smartly written and well-acted and the plot doesn't so far have huge gaping holes? It leaves a lot of stuff unexplained for you to wonder about but not in an annoying JJ Abrams kind of way.

My one complaint is that there is a lot of mumbling and I had to use closed captions.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I finished League of Their Own and now I'm sad because I want more. Please send S2.

I'm one or two seasons back on GBBO, but I just have to say it somewhere: OMG, they sent Jurgen home! Whaaaaaaaaaat???!??!!!?

Is anyone else watching Andor? It's SO GOOD.

Like, not just Star Wars good, but actual-fact good.

SO GOOD

I’m so used to stupid George Lucas dialog, it’s just WEIRD to hear well-written words come out of all the characters’ mouths.
