ffffffuuuuck. Someone who works on a visual art team that did a lot of work on OFMD just reported in a FB group that his team got word today that their services will not be needed again this year, and that if a second season happens at all production will likely move to the UK.

I feel nauseated. He says they just dismantled the Spanish Jackie set a few days ago and he got a bad feeling then.
I mean, it could go elsewhere--it's enormously popular, they already have the second season arc planned and there's got to be some other streaming service that would pounce on it. David Jenkins said about a week ago that he would absolutely pitch it elsewhere if it doesn't happen. I just don't get *why*.
It doesn't seem like it would be enormously expensive to make, but maybe it is. Or maybe HBO is just stupid.
It seems ideal for Netflix.
