OK, Community, that's the stuff.

I'm willing to try getting into Daredevil, but I don't TV much, anymore. The weather channel tends to play non-stop on my TV. Except when my roommate is awake and then it's Forensic Files. Those are pretty much the only reasons we keep cable. I'm ready to ditch it and move on to Netflix (which I already have, but haven't gotten into any of their original programming, yet.) Of course, that's MCU (and a different thread), but you can see where my intentions are. More TV! At a cheaper cost.
We're sitting on the last ep of Daredevil S1, 'cause once we watch it we won't have any more, till they get on the stick and make S2. We may get desperate enough to watch all of S1 again before S2 is in release. Once or twice.
There's something really compelling about the slow storytelling. It's not slow when you're watching, it doesn't lag, doesn't lose your attention. But the action moves slowly enough you can process while you're watching, and a bit more deeply than I've grown used to doing on network--and even cable--tv. So far, they're hitting all the notes right, and H and I are thoroughly hooked.
I am watching Grace & Frankie and enjoying it. Seventy is the new fifty, eh? I like all the kids, too. Sometimes it's a little... too, too, but who cares. It's good fun.
I'm enjoying it, too. I still think of the male leads as President Bartlett and DA Jack McCoy, but that doesn't hurt my enjoyment one little bit.

Also, when she and Tom Waits worked on Altman's Short Cuts they played a married couple and every night Tom would call her in character and tell her about his day (as a chauffeur driver). She said it was the sweetest, most endearing thing and she looked forward to the call every night.
This gives me the warmest fuzzy I've felt in a while. Awwww! Much as I worship TW, not a sensation I associate with him, yet totally cromulent on an Altman film.
I'm really enjoying Grace & Frankie. The cast is so great.
We also finally started watching Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (which a friend of ours worked on back when it was called Tookin') and I don't think it's quite hit its stride yet, but I'm confident it will get there. The first season of 30 Rock was rough too.
The last few episodes of Community have been in fine form. There may have been several points in the finale that made me weepy.
I loved The Pres and the DA as lovers! Dan and I marathoned it one night, and I thought it was pretty damned funny and poignant.
Sense8 was released today. I'll be curious to see what people think!
