RUDE.
It was fucking kind of gauche.
on the one hand the last two eps are so good (KISS ON THE BEACH. THE WIDOW BONNET.) but on the other hand I kind of want to stop watching now before anything bad happens? At least until S2 is announced?
I haven't rewatched the last two eps yet for exactly that reason. I want happy flirty pirates slowly falling head over heels for each other! I don't want to see that all destroyed! I mean, I do have faith that they'll find their way back to each other in the end, but until I know for absolutely sure that I will get to watch that happen with my own eyeballs, I'd rather linger in the land of infatuated bliss than soul-destroying angst.

I rewatch them with my hands over my eyes. But if it's any consolation, all the showrunners have been running all over Twitter sounding kind of quietly confident, and the show itself seems to be still gaining streaming, rewatch and new-viewer momentum four full weeks after the last episode aired.
Ok, why did no one tell me about Severance?
Ok, why did no one tell me about Severance?
I saw people mention it on Facebook, and then I forgot all about it. I need to watch that.
Also, Heartstopper on Netflix is an absolute DELIGHT. It's the adaptation of a webcomic that I adore.
I’ll keep Heartstopper in mind, sounds good. Severance was not at all what I expected (literally all I knew about it was the title but I had made assumptions about what that meant that were totally and completely incorrect), it’s way better. And I am in need of resolution for several burning questions asap after the season finale.

We just started it!

And we're about to start this!
For those who like foreign dramas, I've been streaming Merlí. Sapere Aude on Netflix and enjoying it. It's about philosophy students and their professor at university in Barcelona. Apparently it's a sequel to a 3-season series about a beloved high school teacher and his students, though I didn't manage to catch the parent series before it left Netflix. It kind of reminds me of The White Shadow, only with philosophy in place of basketball.

That is an intriguing description!
