Are any of you all watching Our Flag Means Death on HBOMax? It seems pretty much tailor-made for the Buffistas! And I need some people to talk to about it because it is A LOT!
Probably a family watch since we're all into What We Do In The Shadows.
It's just that Matilda has been too tired coming home after catching in games/practice to really want to watch anything.
In softball news, they lost 27-25 yesterday, which is a huge improvement. At one point they even had the lead! So, apparently the pitchers are starting to find the strike zone.

In their first game, our pitcher walked 24 batters. In the first inning. That was a lot of squatting and throws back to the mound and blocking in the dirt for Catcher Matilda. (And we only got out of that inning because she blocked off a runner for an out at home.)
All of these girls have missed two seasons of playing, and only three of the ten girls on the team have ever played softball before. (Most played on the basketball team though, so they are athletic.)
So we're actuallllly starting to play a bit better as they get acclimated to the game. But all the seniors missed their Junior and Soph seasons, so there's a real cascading loss of game experience.

Right?!? I have always been "You have spicy brains and appear to be kind of a goof, let us hang out and talk for hours" about him, and then THAT showed up on my screen.
