I didn't want to add another streaming service, but based on how OFMD has suddenly become, like, 80% of my Tumblr feed, I'm clearly going to have to. And I do love Taika Waititi. (I'm obviously totally spoiled from all the Tumblr posts [which, !!!!!] but I still want to watch how it unfolds.)

I was going to start watching it yesterday but when I saw there were 10 episodes I decided I wasn't ready. But it's only a matter of time.

Yay! It's well worth your time, I think. And yes, Tumblr insanity is what got me to sign up for HBO and binge all 8 episodes last week (woo spring break!), and then I stayed up way too late last night watching the last 2 eps and flailing about them. (!!!!!!!!!) I have to admit it's been fun actually being part of a major fannish event on Tumblr, but I miss talking about TV with my Buffistas.

Probably a family watch since we're all into What We Do In The Shadows.
It's just that Matilda has been too tired coming home after catching in games/practice to really want to watch anything.
In softball news, they lost 27-25 yesterday, which is a huge improvement. At one point they even had the lead! So, apparently the pitchers are starting to find the strike zone.

In their first game, our pitcher walked 24 batters. In the first inning. That was a lot of squatting and throws back to the mound and blocking in the dirt for Catcher Matilda. (And we only got out of that inning because she blocked off a runner for an out at home.)
All of these girls have missed two seasons of playing, and only three of the ten girls on the team have ever played softball before. (Most played on the basketball team though, so they are athletic.)
So we're actuallllly starting to play a bit better as they get acclimated to the game. But all the seniors missed their Junior and Soph seasons, so there's a real cascading loss of game experience.

Me too! I was Not Prepared for the Taika Waititi Hotness. (Not like he's not attractive or (more often) adorable, but he's not generally someone I find "hot".)
