Mal: Okay. She won't be winning any beauty contests anytime soon. But she is solid. Ship like this, be with ya 'til the day you die. Zoe: 'Cause it's a deathtrap.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I saw that Witcher Season 3 has been greenlighted.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I’m pretty glad, at this point, that I was not watching The Umbrella Academy in real time and don’t have to wait for season 2. Dang.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

So how about that bath scene in The Witcher? amIright!

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

My exact reaction! Also, I was going to riot if Hazel and Agnes didn't get their happily ever after.

Ok, only a few minutes into season 2, but UA did not waste any time before getting very weird. I wanted to note that I appreciate the detail that Diego lands in a classic superhero stance and he's the only one who does.

Well, now I do have to wait for season 3, argh!

Sorry, quester, I said I’d talk about The Witcher and then I drowned in the sea of The Umbrella Academy - all that holy-shit-what-just-happened drove everything else out of my brain. I’m sure I’ll recover enough to refresh my memory about this bath scene before too long…

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

So Witcher…. A lot of people don’t like the wigs, but I think Henry Cavills is usually pretty good and Tom Lenk and Felicia Day agree! (They have a Witcher podcast).

I am usually thinking it’s funny that his hair is always tied back and yet wisps are always loose to get in his eyes, which is a pretty good reaction to a wig. I mean, it’s certainly better than the one on the bard. That is a travesty.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

WoT:

I am completely bewildered. I've generally been onboard with the changes from the books so far, but I have no idea what they think they're doing now.

ETA: A quick check of reactions online so far has been show-only people going "That was great, I can't wait for next season!" and book readers going "What the fuck just happened?" so apparently I'm not alone.
