Mr. Show With Bob and Dave is up on Netflix!
I watched the first episode and it was...okay. Good overall structure once it going, and a couple good sketches, but only one REALLY strong one ("Better Roots") . Hoping it gets better.
It did get better! Second episode is much stronger and feels far less comedy-impaired.
Has anyone watched Master of None? It's kind of sweet, and the ending actually took me by surprise.
Watched it all the day it came out because every episode was so good and I wanted to watch another. Loved it. So so good.
Impressive. It took me the weekend
The even episodes of With Bob and David are the best. I don't think it ever reaches the heights of Mr. Show, but there are some pretty good bits here and there.
I'm incredibly excited to watch Amazon's The Man in the High Castle, but haven't had a chance to check it out yet.
Anyone started it yet? Thoughts? I'm actually not sure if I'll watch that first or Jessica Jones.
Ooh, I forgot about Man in the High Castle. Too many shows.
Anyway, I've started Master of None, and it's good times (I wasn't sure about the first episode, but about halfway through the second it totally clicked for me). I have to remake, though, that I'm watching with the subtitles on and they just told me that Walk on the Wild Side was [relaxed folk music].
I don't even know that that's wrong, exactly, but it's pretty damn weird.
