I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I was surprised! But in retrospect it was a very Laszlo plan.

What is even happening?

Only Murders in the Building

Watched the finale. It was okay. A pretty thorough wrap-up. Some smiles, no laughs, no shocks. Meh.

However, the twist at the very end got me.

It did its job -- now I'm wondering if they will get a second season.

A lot of people I follow on Twitter had raved about OMitB, and it's only ten 30ish-minute episodes, so we gave it a go and watched it all in the space of a week. It took until episode four for me to care about what could happen next, but once I cared, I was hooked.

You probably know this by now, dcp, but it has been renewed for a second season, which they're supposed to start shooting in November.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Oh, good. Glad to hear it. Thanks.

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

WWDITS:

Guillermo yelling "PLANCHA!" and diving off the top of Nandor's coffin while Nandor roars "Don't you dare!" will live forever in my heart.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I read Y: The Last Man ages ago. I enjoyed it, except the end was bullshit.

How did the comic end, Dana?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Ted Lasso question: I'm up to Season 2 ep 4: Were the opening credits stop-motion artists the same ones who did Community, or was it just a tribute? Because it wasn't just claymation, it was a very visually specific style. Anyhow, I gasped and squealed and I so badly want it to be deliberate and conscious, but my Google searches are giving me no love with either confirmation or denial.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

JZ, Tim asked the same question, because he loves that episode of Community with his whole heart, so much that the first time we watched it, as soon as it ended, he asked, "Can we watch that again?" and he never, EVER does that, with anything.

All of which is to say: I also have NO idea if it was the same stop-motion artists or not.

Tep, So either I'm not nuts to see it or at least Tim and I are nuts together in exactly the same way? This is strangely deeply comforting, truly.

I had to look up character names, because I read it ages ago, but he and 355 make it to where they're going, and there is a big moment where they profess their love for one another, and then she immediately gets shot and killed.
