Well, Faye Valentine is more clothed than she might have been, given the original material. So that's promising. The actors for the main cast look good. No sign of Ed? But there's a corgi, so I'm assuming they'll show up. It's fun to play "Oh, yeah, that episode" with the secondary characters
Yeah, I thought they did really good job with Faye's costume; it clearly references the original while being far more practical. Of course the neckbeards are being unsurprisingly neckbeardy about it.
I don't think we're going to see Ed in Season 1 at all. The showrunner said they'll get to her eventually, but there's been no casting information for the role. I'm sure at least we part of it was the delay from COVID and then Cho getting injured. Anyone who they would have cast likely would have aged out of the role in the time it took to finally finish filming.
The person that surprised me most to see in the credits was Perot Le Fou. He's just so bizarre that it will be interesting to see how they translate him into live action. But we're definitely getting him, as well as some version of Asteroid Blues, Stray Dog Strut, Ballad of Fallen Angels, the Teddy Bomber and the family of eco-terrorists.
