Bridgerton was a lot of fun. I finished it this afternoon. I read the books it was based on ages ago, and I love how they interpreted things.

I finished Bridgerton today, too. Have not read the books so had no idea what to expect other than my basic Shonda Rimes knowledge from watching several of her shows and passing familiarity with Regency set fiction in general. I like what they did with the setting very much, and the costuming. There are an awful lot of Bridgertons to keep track of, but they are mostly pretty likable, too. I’m maybe more interested in the Featheringtons?
I find it a little odd that we see so much of the Queen and there isn’t even a mention of the Prince of Wales, but I can roll with that.
Anyway, enjoyed it, will be happy to see another season.
I'm watching Bridgerton and in the third episode, someone says "We've never been friends" or similar, and all I could think was, "You'll never be friends. You'll be in love till it kills you both. You'll fight and you'll shag and you'll hate each other till it makes you quiver, but you'll never be friends..."
Right?! I assumed that was what he meant
Surely.
So, this is still bugging me although I can’t remember what episode it’s in, but when Daphne goes outside and takes off the prince’s necklace it seems like she just sets it on the wall and leaves it there? Maybe I saw that wrong and she kept it in her hand. Or maybe that’s just how rich these people are, they can just leave diamond necklaces wherever and nobody cares. But it made me very tense on top of the tense emotional scene that was also going on
So, halfway through this season of The Expanse? Everybody in peril, outlook hopeless. That seems about right.
t, yep, right on schedule.
I was totally meh on Bridgerton when I watched it a couple months back. It should have been right up my alley but for whatever reason it just never clicked for me.
I think this is allowed by the spoiler policy, this "aired" on December 15. I thought this bit was particularly funny.
The Expanse season 5 episode 2
Fred Johnson: "What'd you do?"
James Holden: "There was a button. I pushed it."
Fred Johnson: "...that's really how you go through life, isn't it?"
That was beautiful bit of dialogue. Caught my ear at the time, as well
