So, halfway through this season of The Expanse? Everybody in peril, outlook hopeless. That seems about right.

t, yep, right on schedule.
I was totally meh on Bridgerton when I watched it a couple months back. It should have been right up my alley but for whatever reason it just never clicked for me.
I think this is allowed by the spoiler policy, this "aired" on December 15. I thought this bit was particularly funny.
The Expanse season 5 episode 2
Fred Johnson: "What'd you do?"
James Holden: "There was a button. I pushed it."
Fred Johnson: "...that's really how you go through life, isn't it?"
That was beautiful bit of dialogue. Caught my ear at the time, as well
I started watching The Expanse because of the talk here. So far I'm only on Season 1 Episode 3 because there is a lot going on and it's not something I can just burn through.
Unlike, say, Shameless which I kind of tripped into for Ian/Mickey and have pretty much just watched that and just skimmed a lot of the show.
I was binging killjoys but I can only watch so many episodes in a row before I have to take a break from it it , I like the characters but there's something about it that's too much and gets kind of irritating.
I was just thinking about how much I like the characters on Killjoys but not necessarily the plots. The attempts to be epic and sweeping got overwrought and were, for my money, unnecessary.
James Holden: "There was a button. I pushed it."
Fucking Holden, honestly. (I genuinely do appreciate Ty and Daniel's willingness to let their main protagonist be SUCH an epic fuckup. Like yes, he usually ends up being the hero, but most of the time it's just because he can't help poking things until they fall apart.)
Also FYI, there is low-key LoTR/Expanse fanfic happening on their Twitter feed and it is awesome: [link]
Oh, thanks for the link, that is terrific!
For a genetically engineered designer baby, Holden is...well, if there was an Expanse-themed tarot deck, he'd be The Fool
Absolutely
