the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Joan Watson is probably my favorite role I've seen her in.

She's so damn fantastic as Joan Watson.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I just want to know what kind of virgins' blood she bathes in and if she's going to market it.

She pretty much looks like that six inches away in no makeup, wearing a sweatshirt, jeans, and keds.

What is even happening?

I believe it, Trudy. Some things can't be faked.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I gotta say, I picked an excellent time to get caught up on The Expanse.

Useta-could.

Just got caught up on The Expanse myself.

Wow. Again.

Once this season is over, I'll get the books to read.

Heck of an episode.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Bridgerton was a lot of fun. I finished it this afternoon. I read the books it was based on ages ago, and I love how they interpreted things.

I finished Bridgerton today, too. Have not read the books so had no idea what to expect other than my basic Shonda Rimes knowledge from watching several of her shows and passing familiarity with Regency set fiction in general. I like what they did with the setting very much, and the costuming. There are an awful lot of Bridgertons to keep track of, but they are mostly pretty likable, too. I’m maybe more interested in the Featheringtons?

I find it a little odd that we see so much of the Queen and there isn’t even a mention of the Prince of Wales, but I can roll with that.

Anyway, enjoyed it, will be happy to see another season.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm watching Bridgerton and in the third episode, someone says "We've never been friends" or similar, and all I could think was, "You'll never be friends. You'll be in love till it kills you both. You'll fight and you'll shag and you'll hate each other till it makes you quiver, but you'll never be friends..."
